Interfacial turbulence often exerts a significant influence on the interphase mass transfer process. By use of real-time micro holographic interference technique, the interfacial turbulence was studied for the absorption process of carbon dioxide bubble by ethanol-water binary solution. The influence of the solution concentration on interfacial turbulence intensity was observed experimentally. Experimental results indicate that higher ethanol concentration leads to stronger interfacial turbulence.
