A design method for transmission line resonator loading with capacitors

In this letter, a design method for transmission line resonator loaded with capacitors is proposed, and its design formulas are derived. Numerical examples show that the proposed resonator is much smaller than the conventional half-wavelength transmission line resonator, and has significantly improved stopband characteristics. © 2018 The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.
