Development of on-line monitoring system for high voltage vacuum circuit breaker and fault diagnosis

摘要
In order to improve the reliability of circuit breaker, an on-line monitoring system for high voltage vacuum circuit breaker based on DSP(digital signal processor) and LabVIEW is developed. The system mainly include three components, such as upper and lower links and sensors. The module of scene monitor is composed of sensors and lower link, installed in the circuit breaker. The lower link takes TMS320F2812DSP as the core. The signals of mechanical characteristics acquired by DSP are transmited to host PC through CAN bus for further analysis and processing. The software takes LabVIEW as developing platform and realize the function of storing, displaying and analyzing metrical data. Test results show that the designed on-line monitoring system can reflect the real-time mechanical running condition of the vacuum circuit breaker. It is friendly to use, and it has complete funtion and high reliability. Also, the desired functionality is achieved.
