摘要
Cooling System for Plastic Additive Manufacturing – Conceptualization, Design and Testing in the Context of Screw Extrusion Additive Manufacturing (SEAM). Screw extrusion additive manufacturing (SEAM) is an additive manufacturing process in which plastic granulate is melted and extruded using a screw ex-truder. In contrast to filament-based processes, this enables higher output rates and a greater variety of materials. One of the main challenges is the efficient cooling of the extrudates. An optimized cooling system is presented and its application potential demonstrated. © 2024 Walter de Gruyter GmbH.
