摘要
The expression of time domain shooting and bouncing rays (TDSBR) method is derived from the expression of frequency domain shooting and bouncing rays (FDSBR) by the inverse Fourier transform. The topics, such as the octree acceleration algorithm, sampling criterion of Nyquist and the shaded elements identification, which are related to TDSBR method are also discussed. Compared with low frequency methods (such as FDTD, TDIE), the memory requirement and simulation time are greatly reduced with the TDSBR method. Therefore it is an efficient method for analyzing the wide band RCS of electrically large objects. Numerical results indicate that the results of the TDSBR method are in good agreement with the results of the exact solutions.
