Good approximate values of the self-energy correction was provided to the energy levels of hydrogen and hydrogenlike ions for any P state and any state with a higher angular momentum. Only a part of the perturbation expansion of the self-energy of such states was known analytically. This paper contains numerical values of A60, as well as formulas for estimating both of these important quantities for high l.
