Recent results on the dissipative synchronization of nonanutonomous and random dynamical systems are discussed as well as new mathematical ideas and tools from the theories of nonautonomous and random dynamical systems that are needed for their formulation and investigation.© 2009 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
