Electronics experts made efforts to describe the process of the introduction of the ultra-wideband (UWB) communication systems. UWB was an advanced technology for transmitting large amounts amounts of digital data over a wide frequency spectrum using short-pulse, low-powered radio signals. Developers of UWB systems started urging FCC to approve its commercial use and it approved the first Report and Order for commercial use of the technology in February 2002 under strict power emission limits. A UWB communication system included three major blocks of communication, such as a transmitter, the channel, and a receiver. These systems had different features and functions in comparison to other communication techniques, as they employed extremely narrow radio frequency (RF) pulses, generated from the UWB pulse generator to communicate between transmitters and receivers.
