The implementation of dynamic planning by execution software is discussed. The problems in supply chain are detected by execution software applications such as order management system (OMS), warehouse management system (WMS) and transportation management system (TMS). The software solutions provide bridge between planning and execution systems which facilitate adaptive planning. The supply chain process or event management software provides real-time visibility into events on an exception basis on key performance indicators (KPI).
