摘要：

New electric arc furnace shop has been created at 'MMZ 'ISTIL' Company. Modern electric arc furnace 'Danieli' has been installed at the shop. Power of the furnace transformer is 50 MVA. Burner system and lances for carbon injection are used in the furnace. Consumption of carbon-containing material is 9-10 kg per ton of steel. Periclase-carbon refractories are utilized in lining of the furnace. Continuous operation of the furnace is provided. ladle treatment of steel is performed in ladle furnace made by 'Danieli' company.
