摘要
Object: Effect of two plant fermentation extracts(PFE) on immunosuppressional mice induced by hydrocortisone was investigated in this study. Method: Male BALB/c mice were randomly divided into 4 groups(including normal, model, DrLeanne PFE and Yesdetox PFE) and orally administered the 2 PFEs respectively at a daily dosages of 2.50 mL/kg BW (comparatively as 5 times of recommended human daily dosage). Saline was given to the normal group as the blank control. The treatments lasted for 30 days, and at the 23rd day, all the animals except the normal group were given hydrocortisone subcutaneously for 7 days, while the normal group was given ethanol-saline solution. At the 31st day, all the animals were executed and indexes, including serum immune factors, intestinal immune factors and immune organ indexes, were measured. Compared with the model group, both PFEs significantly increased the thymus index as well as the contents of serum IL-6, TNF-α, IFN-γ. No significant differences were observed in the spleen index, serum IgG contents and Complement 3 contents. The results indicate that the PFEs had no obvious impact on cellular immunity, but enhanced the intestinal immune barrier, and significantly promoted serum IL-6, TNF-α, IFN-γlevels. © 2018, Editorial Office of Journal of CIFST.
