New method to assess the interface strength for titanium matrix composites using fiber push out test

摘要
In a microcosmic scope, a new equation to evaluate the interface shear strength has been established. The result evaluated by the equation is good agreement with the result evaluated by Finite element analysis. In addition, the reason for debonding in the supported end of the specimen is given. The effect of residual stress on the maximum load is also analyzed in this paper.
