The VI International Scientific and Practical Conference 'Plastic Deformation of Metals' was held on September 16-19, 2002, in Dnepropetrovsk. Theory of processes of plastic metal working, information technologies in designing and controlling the processes, quality and prediction of rolled product properties, sheet and plate rolling, bar rolling etc. have been considered. Properties of St3, 20GS, 40Kh, and other steels have been discussed.
