Study on the multimodal teaching exploration of English and American literature course based on the internet plus background

With the deepening of the reform of education and teaching in colleges and universities, all kinds of information technology resources are widely used in teaching. In this paper, the authors analyse the multimodal teaching exploration of English and American literature course based on the internet plus background. The course of English and American literature involves a wide range of subjects and requires higher students' English level. By constructing multimodal teaching mode to stimulate students' hearing and vision, and encourage and mobilize students to participate in teaching interaction, teachers can help students to get more exposure to British and American literature. Through multi-modal teaching mode, we can cultivate students' ability of finding and analysing problems, effectively realizing the construction of their knowledge and improving their English literary accomplishment.
