摘要
To research the natural pollution accumulation characteristics of composite insulators, 43 specimens are sampled from 32 points in Hunan Power Grid, the test data show that the averaged equivalent salt deposit density (ESDD) of the sampling areas is 0.060 mg/cm2, the averaged non soluble deposit density (NSDD) is 0.446 mg/cm2, and the averaged NSDD/ESDD is 7.41. The test results show that the specimens which are sampled from the industrial and mining area are seriously polluted than other areas, the specimen which has only one big and one small umbrella skirt in a umbrella group are seriously polluted than other umbrella-shaped, and the ESDD and NSDD trend down with the small umbrella skirt number increasing in a umbrella group. The ESDDs of specimens show jagged peaks with the natural pollution accumulation time increases, and the cycle is 3 a. The NSDD increases with the accumulation time increases, and the peak value of NSDD occurs in the 10th to 12th years after the specimens being put into operation. To 110~500 kV AC specimens, the ESDD decreases while voltage classes increase. There are large differences in pollution accumulation of the specimens sampled from different areas in China, which may be connected with the factors such as geographical environment, accumulation time, climate, weather, industrial structure, and economic development etc. © 2018, High Voltage Engineering Editorial Department of CEPRI.
