摘要
In order to investigate the effect of individual element As and Cu-As coexist on hot ductility, tensile tests were carried out on C-Mn steel containing 0.16%As and 0.17%Cu+0.075%As at 700 to 1100 by a Gleeble-1500 thermal simulator. Results show that Cu and As in the tested steels can cause the migration of the low ductility region III to higher temperature and has little impact on tensile strength of the steel. The formation of proeutectoid ferrite film along the austenite grain boundaries in the austenite + ferrite two phases range induces intergranular fracture. However, the C-Mn steel containing 0.16%As shows ductile fracture mode at 700 and plastic restored because As promotes the formation of ferrite. Intergranular fracture in austenite single phase low temperature region is caused by the segregation of Cu and As at the austenite grain boundaries.
