摘要
The EuroSTARRS campaign at Valencia site is addressed to provide data over natural vegetations, such as scrubland and pine forest, and to investigate the effect of subpixel variability in a complex Mediterranean landscape. The ground truth techniques must detect sources of variation in the landscape features under the sensor resolution that could modify the estimation of soil moisture with the microwave L-band remote sensing technique and then become a source of error. The approximation adopted is the definition of two scales of sampling for the remote sensing experiment, by means of two high flights that defined two resolutions in the ground in order to study the variation at the landscape level.
