摘要:
The dependence of LS term on radiative rates and electron-impact excitation cross sections are discussed. The investigation is carried out on helium-like ions. The variation of 2p orbital between two configurations is reported. For certain transitions, the LS term dependence causes the radiative rate and excitation cross section to vary as much as twenty percent the designated level.
