摘要
In this paper, we report a cost-effective eco-friendly method for the synthesis of silver nanoparticles using Moringa Oleifera leaves extract. The particles nature, crystallinity and morphology of the green synthesized AgNPs were investigated by UV-VIS, XRD and SEM study. The SEM and XRD results indicated that the silver nanoparticles were predominantly spherical in shape with an average particle size of 68 nm. The catalytic activity of as-prepared silver nanoparticles was evaluated on the reduction of p-Nitrophenol to p-Aminophenol in presence of NaBH4. The progress of the reaction was conveniently monitored with the help of UV-visible spectrophotometer. Copyright © 2018 American Scientific Publishers All rights reserved
