Due to the difference between two types of definitions and transforms of the vector in Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) vector control, the study introduces and analyzes the essential relationships between them and the transforming method in PMSM modeling procedure. A PMSM simulation model with variable PMSM parameters is proposed. The new model has many advantages in simulation. The detailed structure of the simulation model in MATLAB/Simulink is presented. Finally, a simulation example is proposed to verify the feasibility. © 2014 Asian Network for Scientific Information.
