Just recently, the La Plata cathedral, a neo-Gothic building was furnished with an elevator. The installation of the elevator is part of a three-part project aimed at completing the cathedral. An important aspect of the elevator is the absence of conventional shaft but a structure made of bolted T-iron beams and screwed to the inner steel skeleton of the tower.
