Multicomponent water-alcohol mixtures separation in helical membrane device

摘要
The method of evaporation through a membrane (pervaporation) occupies particular place amongst the modern membrane technologies intended for ecologically pure mixtures separation. The three-component mixture water-ethanol-isopropanol was studied at different concentrations. The tests were carried out using the domestic ion-exchange membrane MA-40. On the basis of the experimental results a design of helical membrane device was developed for multicomponent liquid mixtures separation.
