The Venezuelan papermaking company, Venepal's struggle to block the staff takeover of its mill near Valencia is discussed. Around 30% of the company's employees took control of the facility on August 15, 2003 following the management's decision to close the plant and pay off the employees. The company has asked the Supreme Court to rule against the takeover.
