The problems of multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) can be broadly classified into two categories: (1) Multiple Attribute Decision Making (MADM), (2) Multiple Objective Decision Making (MODM). This paper presents a literature review on the theory, softwares and applications of (MCDM) problems.
