Water-glass binder and heat-resistant concrete based on it are widely utilized in construction industry. The concrete based on water-glass binder is characterized by high adhesion properties and chemical and thermal stability. Therefore, the concrete is very popular, and new similar materials are created. New complex binder has been developed which consists of low-density water glass, slag of ferroalloy production, and aluminate cement. Comparative analysis of physical-mechanical properties of the complex and traditional water-glass binders has been performed. Results of the analysis have been presented. Role of aluminate cement has been shown.
