To suppress the aero-optics effect on object images, the fractional Fourier transform is applied to phase retrieval algorithm to restore turbulence-degraded images. The auto correlation is calculated from their Fractional Fourier transform magnitude, so object images could be reconstructed by de-autocorrelation algorithm. The current de-autocorrelation algorithm is improved by using the least-square conjugate gradient to solve the Gaussian-Newton equation in order to accelerate convergence. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is an effective method for turbulence-degraded images.
