摘要
The purpose of this study was to develop a method for estimating the energy consumption of residential CO2 refrigerant heat-pump water heaters (HPWHs). We showed that the system efficiency of HPWHs was determined by three performance factors, namely: "Heat-pump COP", "Storage heat loss" and "Auxiliary power loss". In this paper, some experimental evaluation tests were carried out to obtain actual machine performance data. The measurements were analyzed by evaluation indices, such as "the rate of decrease in COP", "Storage heat loss rate" and "Auxiliary power loss rate". We also gained useful pointers for developing a calculation model of HPWHs. © 2021 Architectural Institute of Japan. All rights reserved.
