摘要
To study failure modes and aseismic behavior of frame joints between a steel reinforced concrete special column and a steel beam, 4 joints with T-shaped section and 4 joints with L-shaped section were tested under reversed cyclic loading. The parameters of concrete strength, axial compression ratio, and core area stirrup ratio were taken into account. The deformation characteristics and the failure modes were investigated. Hysteretic characteristics, skeleton curves, load-bearing capacity, shear deformation of core zone, ductility and energy dissipation ability were analyzed. The results indicated that the failure modes contain shear diagonal compression failure and core zone welding crack failure; the failure modes are determined with axial compression ratio; the specimen possesses a plump hysteretic loop with a good aseismic performance under reversed cyclic loading; with increase in axial column load, the joints' load-bearing capacity increases, but their displacement ductility decreases; the ultimate strength, ductility and energy dissipation capacity can be enhanced by increasing the stirrup ratio of core zone. © 2016, Editorial Office of Journal of Vibration and Shock.
