The opening of digital printing sets by Xerox that would help students gain first hand experience on some of the most technologically advanced digital printing equipment in the industry is discussed. The company has announced a $ 500000 sponsorship to Leicester College National Printing Skills center (NPSC). The latest printing equipment includes DocuColor 6060, a Nuvera 120 Copier/Printer and a FreeFlow Makeready system. The Nuvera 120 is designed for high volume production in both coated and uncoated stocks and the 6060 offers benefits of productivity and flexibility, coupled with printing speeds of up to 60 full color pages per minute.
