摘要
Aluminum sheets were anodic oxidized in electrolyte at different pH, and the effect of pH and additives in strong electrolyte on anodic alumina oxide(AAO) morphology was studied. In addition, the surface and cross section of the oxide film were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The results show that the properties of electrolyte are the main factors that affect the overall morphology of the AAO film, and the pH of electrolyte has significant effect on the surface morphology of the AAO film. Well ordered AAO film can be prepared in common electrolyte such as sulfuric acid, oxalic acid and phosphoric acid. In alkaline electrolyte such as NaOH and ammonia, AAO film with small pore size can be prepared with the relatively low ordered surface morphology. The addition of additives can significantly improve the electrolyte properties and oxide film structure with more regular pores. The properties of electrolyte have important effects on the morphology of AAO film. © 2018, Central South University Press. All right reserved.
