In the drive to secure identity in an increasingly connected digital world, biometric technology is flourishing throughout the worldwide banking infrastructure. In many banking services markets, biometrics is authenticating millions of users at the ATM while improving the user experience, increasing transaction security and delivering trust in transactions. © 2017 Elsevier Ltd
