摘要
Nanosized SiO2 powders were prepared from aqueous sodium silicate solution and carbon dioxide by high gravity reactive precipitation. The influences of processing factors on the particle size distribution of SiO2 powder have been investigated. The structure and physical properties of SiO2 powder have also been characterized through IR, TEM and XRD. It has been found that concentration of the flocculants and aging time have significant influence on the particle size distribution. The concentration of sodium silicate solution and surfactant also affect the particle size. The particle sizes of SiO2 prepared by using this method are within the range of 17-30 nm, and the particle size distribution is very uniform.
