摘要
The research progresses in chemical depolymerization of polymer materials into corresponding products in presence of ionic liquids were reviewed in recent years. It was focused on chemical degradation methods of some polymers, such as polycarbonate (PC), poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET), poly(β-hydroxybutyrate) (PHB), poly(lactic acid) (PLA), nylon6 (PA6), and polyethylene (PE), and advantages and disadvantages of these methods were also analyzed. Finally, the development of chemical degradation of polymer materials in presence of ionic liquids was prospected in the future. © 2017, Editorial Board of Polymer Materials Science & Engineering.
