A resource allocation scheme based on user grouping for device-to-device communication

摘要
In order to improve the utilization of spectrum resources and reduce the energy consumption, a new D2D resource allocation algorithm is proposed under the premise of introducing D2D communication to LTE system. This algorithm first groups all D2D pairs in the system based on fuzzy clustering, and then finds an optimal uplink resource of cellular user for each D2D group to reuse based on minimum outage probability. And Finally, adjust the transmitting power of user equipments within each group. The theoretical analysis and simulation shows that, the algorithm not only can allow more D2D pairs to access the system, improve the system throughput, but also can reduce the energy consumption of system and user equipments.
