摘要
In the context of a transforming school of the 21st century and in the context of the digital transformation of the economy and education globally, the digital competence of pedagogical specialists is crucial for the implementation of the new professional roles of the teacher in response to the ever-increasing requirements for it. This article examines the framework of teachers' digital competency by specifying the main competencies that guarantee their full practical experience. The empirical study presents a selfassessment of the digital competence of future pedagogical specialists trained in the professional field of pedagogy, as well as highlights from their real possibilities of solving specific practical tasks based on the application of information and communication technologies. Some recommendations have been made to rethink the education of future pedagogical specialists and the professional qualification of current teachers in the context of the formation and development of their digital competence. © International Association of Online Engineering.
