Positioning measurement based on three-dimensional echoing effect: IO-Link sensors for robust applications

Concrete water mixture, as it arises when rinsing a concrete mixer, can be a severe test for the sensors used. In order that the sensor, which regulates the hydraulic system of the discharge chute of a concrete mixer, meets these challenges, the operator relies on a position sensor which has IP67 protection type as standard. Equipped with IO-Link and corresponding measurement modules, these sensors can capture other process variables and relate them to one another.
