摘要
It is of great advantage to integrate building automation systems (BAS) in intelligent buildings using networks (LAN or WAN).This paper addresses three technical issues in the integration of BASs. One is the integration between BASs and existing enterprise applications. The second is the integration of BASs which adopt different international standardized protocols. The third is the integration of building automation subsystems. The "intelligence" of intelligent buildings is still more of a promise than a reality. As a new generation of Internet communication technologies, Web Services are becoming an increasingly popular middleware technology, which provides new solutions to overcome above problems. The paper analyses the development history and current problems of the BAS industry, proposes that Web Services based on XML, SOAP, WSDL and UDDI are the best answer in solving the integration problems of BASs. The framework model and realization principles of BAS based on Web Services are also described. The technologies have been used to develop a building management system (BMS) for a real intelligent building successfully. © 2011 ACADEMY PUBLISHER.
