Since 1959, there are many developments that have been made for transport, but lack of technical improvements to cars and roads that leads to injury and death. UK and Europe have set road casualty reduction targets that will play a key role in the future advances in road safety. Road safety is a system that involves car, road, and driver and linking them together will lead to a great promise for future crash reduction. These targets also need to have longer term to give technology suppliers the confidence in delivering the safety and control equipment of the future. Meanwhile, the IAM, the UK's leading road safety organization dedicated to raising driving and riding standards and reducing the number of collisions that occur on roads, wants to see more investment in new roads and technology with better driver training.
