Considering the limitation of 2-dimension uncertain linguistic variables when decision makers evaluate the attribute of the alternative from different perspectives, we proposed a novel evaluation method named neutrosophic valued linguistic soft set (NVLSS), which is based on both soft sets and neutrosophic sets, and define the assessment linguistic variables as the parameters of the soft sets. First at all, we introduce the concept of NVLSS, and define the operational rules and discuss its characteristics. Then, a neutrosophic valued linguistic soft sets generalized weighted aggregation operator (NVLSSGWA) is developed. Furthermore, we discuss the special forms of NVLSSGWA, and propose the method to solve multi-attribute decision making problems in which the attribute weights take the form of real numbers, and the attribute values take the form of NVLSSs. Finally, an illustrate example is given to present the steps of the developed method and verify the practicality and effectiveness of the proposed method.
