Influence of Environmental factors on Vibrio parahaemolyticus biofilm formation was studied in this paper. The microtitre plate assay was used to determine the OD630 value to evaluate the optimal conditions for Vibrio parahaemolyticus biofilm growth. The results indicated that the maximal OD630 value was showed under the conditions: bacterial concentration with a density of 107 cfu/mL, incubation temperature at 28°C, consistence of NaCl at 3%, pH 8~9. It is most remarkable to impact on Vibrio parahaemolyticus biofilm formation in culture medium, which contains 2% sucrose, lactose and glucose, respectively. The OD630 value of bacterial biofilm reduced with the decrease in the concentration of cultural media. Addition of Ca2+ obviously promoted the bacterial biofilm formation, while Mg2+, Fe3+ and Cu2+ played as opposite roles. Above all, the bacterial biofilm formation of Vibrio parahaemolyticus was governable, which will be useful for the epidemic control in fish culture.
