摘要
Protected coal seam mining is the main mining method for the regional gas control, however, its pressure relief effect can not be quantized currently as the lack of evaluation system. Based on the mining-enhanced permeability theory, a numerical model was established by the discrete element method on the geological conditions of No. 10 mine of Pingdingshan coal mining group, then the contour maps of mining-enhanced permeability were obtained. The result indicated that when the protective layer was mined, the peak value of pressure occured 15 m ahead of working face and the mining-enhanced permeability and the gas flow presented a positive correlation. At the bottom of the goaf, the distressed zone had roughly the same distribution with the mining-enhanced permeability. The results confirmed that the mining-enhanced permeability theory can be used to evaluate the effect of pressure relief, which can provide a more scientific foundation for the design of protected coal seam mining and gas drainage scope. © 2016, Editorial Department of Journal of Sichuan University (Engineering Science Edition).
