Metsa Tissue, which has signed up the final suppliers for an upgrade of its mills in Krapkowice and Warsaw, Poland, is discussed. PMPoland will join Andritz for a revamp of PM 6 at the Krapkowice plant, while Italian firms Fabio Perini, Casmatic and SIG Electric 80 will upgrade the converting operations at both facilities. The company is planning to install compact concept mill technology at both sites, enabling the paper to flow almost directly from the machine into the converting lines.
