Polyolefins, a polymer class with a great variety of material properties, are synthesized using metallocene catalysis. These catalysts supply a large variety of new polymeric materials with well-defined properties. Such polymers have potential applications in the field of thermoplastic polyolefins, thermoplastic elastomers, and polyolefin rubbers.
