摘要
Single-atom high-order harmonic generation was analyzed in terms of quantum orbits. Results of saddle-point and uniform approximations were compared with those of numerical integration. The formalism was used to analyze the enhancement of high-order harmonic generation near channel closings. The enhancements exactly at the channel closings were found to be extremely narrow and built up by constructive interference of very large number of quantum orbits.
