The III International conference 'Computer methods and inverse problems in nondestructive examination and diagnostics' was held in Moscow in March of 2002. Solving conditionally-correct and non-correct problems, the methods of signals, images reconstruction as well as modeling nondestructive testing processes were considered at plenary sessions. The work of six sections was devoted to optical and thermal, ultrasonic, magnetic, radiographic, electromagnetic examination as well as to inversion methods of nondestructive testing data.
