A study is performed on the development of fact-based marketing plan. A framework is provided for preparing a 'grounded in the facts' strategy to mobilize foundry toward new action on the marketing front. It is reported that a detailed fact-based plan provides a greater sense of confidence and more easily justifies changes in the strategy.
