摘要
For the diagnosis of cancer metastasis, lymph nodes are selectively removed. In this study, we developed a magnetic probe for intraoperatively detecting accumulation of magnetic fluid. We manufactured a magnetic probe consisting of a permanent magnet and a Hall-effect sensor, and investigated the sensitivity. The results agreed well with the numerical results. In addition, a prototype probe detected 1.6 mL magnetic fluid located at 30 mm from the probe head. © 2014 The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.
