Numerical results on granular mixtures are presented. The efficiency of diffusion as a mixing mechanism is examined. The collisions are inelastic and the grains are thermalized to compensate the energy loss. Uniform heating leads to a uniform mixture of grains of different sizes. The characteristic mixing time is defined. Its dependence on other parameters is studied. A model for bidisperse systems for which we can calculate some physical quantities is examined. The effect of a temperature gradient is examined.
