摘要
The random direction mobility model plays a crucial role in the simulation and performance analysis of ad hoc networks. Random direction mobility model with uniformly accelerated motion (URD), which is an improved random direction model, are more suitable for the node mobility characteristics under real-world environment. In this paper, we analyze the stationary spatial distribution of a node moving according to the random direction mobility model with uniformly accelerated motion and derive the exact formula of the node space probabilistic distribution in 2D regions. We also verify our analysis through some numerical examples. The analytical results will redound to understand fundamental network QoS measures such as throughput per source to destination pair, probability of successful transmission, connectivity, etc. 1553-9105/Copyright © 2014 Binary Information Press.
