As with all types of building mechanical systems, commissioning a geothermal system is the vital final step to ensuring that the building owner/operator receives the expected value for his additional investment. Reduced operating cost is a primary design objective in geothermal systems. This paper discusses the factors related to system performance and operating efficiency.
